FINANCING

We understand the price of LASIK can be intimidating. However, we urge you to remember that this is your vision, and you need to take optimal care of it. We offer various options so that this does not become an obstacle to better vision.

Carecredit Healthcare credit card.
We accept CareCredit, North America's leading healthcare financing program. This card offers special funding for $200 or more for medical expenses which are not normally covered by insurance, including some intraocular lenses. With CareCredit, you don't have to lay aside a better life: you can repay the money spent later in monthly installments at the pace you set. NO INTEREST FOR TWO YEARS Although the cost of the surgery may seem intimidating, think of the drastic improvements it will bring to the quality of your life. We offer zero interest (0%) for 24 months when financed through CareCredit. Apply today, and you will find out within 24 hours whether you have been approved for cataract surgery financing.
Flexible spending account (FSA).
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF FLEXIBLE ACCOUNTS AND TAX DEDUCTIONS There are two ways to save. The first is to write-off your medical expenses, the second depends on the insurance plan of your company. If your medical expenses reach 7.5% of your annual income in a particular year, the cost of ophthalmic procedures not covered by insurance can be deducted from the taxes. All-laser cataract surgery is one of these cases. Since most people do not reach the 7.5% mark, it is possible to use another popular program, a flexible spending account. WHAT IS A FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT? A flexible spending account (FSA) is also known as a flex plan, reimbursement account, flex 125, tax saving plan, medical spending account, a section 125, or a cafeteria plan. These are the benefits that allow you to pay for a range of medical services before taxes. If your regular health insurance won’t cover your expenses, you can go ahead and try the FSA. The FSA reduces the taxes. The contribution you make to the FSA is deducted from your taxes BEFORE the tax authorities or Social Security Taxes calculate everything up, and these contributions are not reported to the IRS. Benefit means a reduction in taxable income on the one hand and an increase in expendable income on the other, which can save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars a year. HOW DOES FLEXIBLE SPENDING WORK? At the start of your annual plan, your employer asks how much money you want to put into a flexible spending account. And each year you only get one chance to do so (except for some events such as marriage, giving birth, divorce, or cancellation of your spouse's insurance). The amount you have invested is withdrawn from your paycheck in equal monthly installments and placed in a special account. When you have medical expenses that are not fully covered by insurance, you send an Explanation of Benefits letter or provider invoice to your administrator, and they will provide you with compensation. WHAT COSTS ARE INCLUDED? Any of the medical expenses that are found to be deductible by the IRS and not covered by your insurance may be covered through the FSA. This includes cataract surgery, glasses and prescriptions.
50%, the rest - monthly.
The patient pays half of the due amount before the procedure, and the balance is paid monthly over the next 3 months. This option is only possible if the patient has a valid credit card from which installments will be automatically deducted.
You will get a refractive guarantee
THE COST OF THE SURGERY INCLUDES REFRACTIVE GUARANTEE About 1% of our patients after surgery need a touch up for further sharpening your vision within a year after the surgery. We are perfectionists, so this rate is significantly lower than the country average (15%). Your cataract surgery comes with a guarantee, so in rare cases when a touch up is required, Dr. Benjamin will do it at no additional cost.
