I want to thank the Benjamin Eye Institute for restoring my 72 year old eyes to such fantastic 20/20 vision.  Being a very active senior pro tennis player and coach, seeing 20/20 is very important.  The Institute's  and Dr. Benjamin's tremendous ability to do such accurate work on replacing a cataract lens and then accurately bringing it to 20/20 through his lasik work is a remarkable and fulfilling creative work of art.

Doctor's Notes: 

Forrest is a very interesting patient.  He was actually one of the first patients ever to have Laser Vision Correction more than 17 years ago.  However, he noticed that the vision in his left eye started deteriorating.  A cataract was found the reason for it, and plans for cataract surgery where made.  This made his cataract surgery challenging, since previous laser vision correction may complicate lens calculations for cataract surgery.  In preparation for surgery we utilized the most advanced equipment and software possible to predict the outcome and we came very close.  Forrest received Crystalens HD accommodative lens implant so that he would be glasses free fro both distance and near.  The cataract surgery went well.....
