Ophthalmic Technician

Natalia comes to us from Kemerovo (Siberia brrrrr) where she graduated from the Kemerovo State University, Department of English and French Philology.

Although her formal training is in English (and French) language and literature, she has found a new passion in ophthalmology.  Next time you’re at the office, and Natalia is asking you “which is better one or two?” while she is performing your refraction, feel free to respond in English, French or Russian.

Natalia practices yoga, loves hiking on Sunday mornings and enjoys cooking exotic dishes for her family and friends.

• glaucoma and retinal testing
• pre-operative testing for cataract and LASIK surgery
• medication prescriptions and refills
• Insurance preauthorizations for your procedure
• pre- and post- operative care instructions 

Natalia is one of our star technicians.  She is great at everything she does from taking history, to refractions, to visual field testing and retinal scanning to assisting in surgery.

Natalia is also at the surgical center on the day of your cataract surgery to explain pre and postoperative care and to support you.
